The inspectors of the technical teams of the Joint Working Group of the Ministries of Industry, Environment and the Litani National Authority inspected these factories to determine to what extent they met the conditions and required standards and found that the owner of the plant did not comply with the required procedures. However, the team did not reveal that it had submitted its report to the department that had decided to close the plant, a procedure that had taken place in its proper place and in accordance with the position of the Minister, who had confirmed more than once that there was no extension of time.

III. In view of the foregoing, the Ministry of Industry has received no error: it is the implementation of the road map and the timetable to put an end to industrial pollution in Litani.

IV The owner of the factory has performed the required procedures after the specified time. Upon the return of the technical teams responsible for inspecting the plant and ensuring the presence of the refinery, the Ministry of Industry made the decision to reopen the plant.

VI. The Ministry of Industrial Industry is requesting compliance with deadlines for the installation of treatment facilities, refining and sedimentation ponds in their plants in order to achieve the objective of "zero industrial pollution in Litani" at the end of September.
