Lebanese and Palestinian media recently reported that Ministry of Labor inspectors had shut down Palestinian-owned businesses on the grounds that Palestinians needed a license from their employer and worker. .

A total of 174,422 Palestinian refugees live in 12 camps and 156 in the five governorates of Lebanon, according to the latest census of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Lebanon for 2017.
