The dollar was near its highest level in two months yesterday, leading to gains for the second week. During trading, the dollar index rose 0.1% to 97.88, below the two-month high of 97.92 in the previous session.
The euro hit 1,1166 USD during trading, returning from a low of 1,1102 USD in two months and a pound falling to 1.2428 USD.
