TENNE, France (Reuters) – The 20th stage of the Tour de France will go from 130 km to 59 km Saturday, with a big climb ignored by landslides, the organizers announced on Friday.

A strong storm and landslides forced the race jury and organizers to stop at stage 19 after extreme weather conditions severely damaged the roads.

The penultimate phase will start next Saturday from Perphel to the last 33 kilometers towards Val-Torrance.

It will start at 12:30 GMT and will not pbad Corsi da Reis 19,9 km.

Colombian Ejene Bernal became the new leader of the race after defeating his rivals on Friday, which stopped at the top of the Col de Ziron.
