From Rossi: I could not finish my career without playing with Boca

Former Argentine international midfielder Daniele De Rossi has joined the club for a year, club Boca_Gonioris said on his Twitter account.

Boca Juniors is delighted to have signed the 2006 World Champion title with Italy. "Daniele De Rossi has signed a one-year contract to give Boca a new impetus," he said.

De Rossi, 36, played half with the Roma, arrived in Buenos Aires and should be introduced on Monday.

Before arriving in Argentina, De Rossi, a friend of several Argentine players, said: "I could not finish my career without playing with Boca."
