Egypt qualified for the semi-finals of the World Handball Championship organized by Spain.
The Egyptian team beat Norway 29-27, to make an appointment with their French counterpart, who crossed the hurdle of Denmark.
In contrast, Tunisia lost their quarter-final against Croatia 24-27 as Croatia qualified to face Portugal in the semifinals.
