The behavior of Egyptian actress Yousra at the funeral of her mother Friday, denouncing the Committee of Freedoms of the Union of Egyptian Journalists, following his "inappropriate" behavior with a journalist facing the presence of many artists and personalities in Egypt.

Egyptian media reported that during the burial of Yusra's mother, which took place in the hall of events of the Omar Makram mosque, in the center of the Egyptian capital of Cairo, the journalist Radwa Abdel Ghani had been surprised when covering the funeral ceremony by the artist Yusra and asked her about her personality. She was flogged and booed in protest at the media coverage.

Some artists, including Ilham Shaheen, tried to stand next to Yousra and pushed Radwa out of the mourning room, asking security to expel him completely from the perimeter of the mosque.

The conduct of the two artists has raised the condemnation of the Committee of Freedoms of the Union of Journalists in Egypt, Amr Badr, chairman of the Committee of Freedoms of the union, condemning the attack of Radwa Abdel Ghani, editor of the newspaper Al-Dustour .

In an interview with Al-Dustour newspaper, Badr said that attacking journalists and preventing them from performing their job was a crime, according to the law, stressing that the union would not take any action in court against those who insulted their colleagues and prevented them from doing their job. The Liberties Committee would defend the dignity of all colleagues in the course of their work safely, added that preventing colleagues from doing their job is unacceptable and unjustified.
