Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, and General Adel Al-Ghadhban, Governor of Port Said, held a meeting at the headquarters of the new Hall of Operations for comprehensive health insurance.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki, Assistant Minister for Surveillance and Monitoring, Executive Director of Global Health Insurance Project, Dr. Ahmed Mohey Al Qbaded, Deputy Minister of Hospital Affairs and Affiliated Organizations, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman, Advisor to the Minister to the Minister of Services and Technical Projects.
The consultant, the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs, and the spokesperson, explained that the purpose of the meeting was to review the hands-on training provided as part of the "Data Show" of the 39 medical team of Al-Nasr Children's Specialized Hospital to measure physical fitness.
He added that the minister had directed the preparation of an investment plan for the remaining 26 provinces in order to benefit from the establishment of a new comprehensive health insurance, including the provinces of 39, Ismailia, Suez, South Sinai, Luxor and Aswan, referring to the implementation of the system in five provinces on July 1, 2020.
He added that the Minister of Health and Population had stressed the importance of taking advantage of the experience gained through the application of the system in the governorate of Port Said to the rehabilitation of governorates, applying international standards and taking into account the population of each province.
He pointed out that the Minister had insisted on maximizing the benefits of the private sector's role in the new system for the benefit of patients, in addition to encouraging investment in the health sector, in accordance with the needs of the system.
The Minister pointed out that health was a national goal and that the change of the comprehensive health insurance system was intended to change the culture of patient service, paying particular attention to appearance and providing the best medical service.
For his part, Governor Adel Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, thanked the Minister of Health of the citizens of Port Said, highlighting the satisfaction of citizens for the results achieved in the new system and the pursuit of the search for the best .
