Lebanese actress Raya Abi Rashed congratulated Tunisian artist Hind Sabri to be a jury member of the best competition ever held at the Venice International Film Festival, one of the film festivals the most important in the world.
"Thanks, my friend," Raya wrote, chirping on her official Twitter account, where she backed Hind, saying, "You deserve it."
In a press release, she expressed her joy and pride in being the first Arab artist to participate in this section. The 76th edition of the festival will take place on August 28th and will last until September 7th.
Hind Sabri is one of the most famous actors of the Arab world. Two years ago she won the award of the late artist Faten Hamama of the Cairo International Film Festival, as well as several awards: Best Actress at the Alexandria Film Festival for her film And Three Best Actress Award of the National Egyptian Film Festival for his roles in Al Jazeera: Ahla Al Aoun, citizen, detective and Harami, and best actress at the Carthage Festival for her film "Silence of Palaces".
During his career, Hind has presented 30 films between Tunisia and Egypt and several series in Egypt and Tunisia.
