Al-Ahly confirms that Zamalek was rightly crowned Egyptian Premier League champion (Video)

Al-Ahly defeated Al-Zamalek 1-0 in the 118th match, which was held Sunday at the Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria.

Al-Ahly retained the title of Egyptian champion in the final round, after winning the Arab Contractors' home (3-1) in the match against them last Wednesday.

Al Ahly led the standings with 80 points, eight points behind Zamalek.

Al-Ahli has been crowned champion for the fourth time in a row and 41 times in his career.

Compared with 12 titles for Zamalek, the last of which was in the season (2014-2015).
