Zamalek's board of directors, led by councilor Mourtada Mansour, has decided to dismiss his current coach, Khalid Jalal, after losing to Al-Ahly at the end of the Egyptian Premier League.
Murtada Mansour said that during the week, he would contract with a foreign manager to run Zamalek during the new season.
Zamalek's board of directors has also decided to propose the midfielder Mohamed Ibrahim for sale.
Zamalek sank 0-1 to Al Ahly in his 118th match on Sunday at the Burj Al Arab stadium in Alexandria, in the finals of the Premier League.
