Rodriguez returns to Real Madrid after two years of absence

Colombian striker Khamis Rodriguez returned to Real Madrid on Monday after two years of absence during which he was loaned to Bayern Munich, who did not enter into the final purchase clause in the contract at the request of the player.
"Khamis, Casimiro and Melito have started the preparation period for the new season, the three players have completed the warm-ups with the rest of the group, then they have been jogging continuously and then training the ball", declared the club on its official website after the drive behind closed doors.
The Colombian player has not been training with the Meringue since June 2, 2017, a day before the final of the Champions League, where he won his twelfth title by beating Juventus 4-1 in Cardiff.
Rodriguez sat on the bench for Zinedine Zidane then loaned to the Bavarian team for two seasons before returning to the Catalan side.
There have been recent rumors that the player might sign for Atletico Madrid or Napoli, but Real Madrid has not been ruled out either.
By contrast, Real Madrid will face Tottenham Hotspur Tuesday at 18:00 local time at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
