New details on the assassination of the Lebanese Arlette Obaid in Dubai

Lawyer Bernard Sader has revealed the family of the young woman Arlette Obaid, found dead in her apartment in Dubai in 2018, on the circumstances of this crime.

The statement stated that "investigations with the murderer Robert Elias Saba proved that he was in a state of drunkenness and that the late Arlette had allowed him to return home because of his previous knowledge and because He was a friend of the family, where he had killed and tried to conceal the characteristics of the crime.

The statement stated that the Dubai Public Prosecutor, after questioning the culprit, had claimed the murder in April 2019 and demanded the application of the death penalty as the most severe punishment.

According to the statement, the culprit has been brought before the Dubai Criminal Court, where he is currently preparing for the final verdict against him.

Dubai police in the United Arab Emirates were able to seize the defendants for having killed Lebanese girl Arlette Obaid of Hitta-Keserwan town in about 18 hours after reporting the crime in July 2018.

According to the newspaper "Union", the crime resulted from a personal dispute between the parties, which had developed to the point of entanglement of hands and which had resulted in the death of the victim.
