Staff from the news section of Prime Minister Saad al-Hariri's "Future" channel began a new strike Tuesday to protest the non-payment of their salaries, informed sources told New Arab newspaper.

The newspaper said that "the employees who receive amounts equal to half of their wages received no salary last month, under the signs of not receiving half of another salary for the month of July, which ends Wednesday. "

According to sources, the employees reportedly were beaten until they received full pay, that is for two months.

"On the other hand, the staff of the program division has not yet participated in the strike, but the sources should join their colleagues, as far as they have already done more work. a move in the same context, "she said.

The chain is suffering from a financial crisis with the institutions of the "future" all and disbursement of many employees, while they have remained for months without pay. The financial crisis also ended the paper version of the newspaper "Future".

It should be noted that the institutions of the "future" are not the only ones affected: the financial crisis has strangled many media institutions in Lebanon, leading to the closure of several of them.
