Etihad Airways has announced an increase in flights between Abu Dhabi International Airport and London Heathrow International Airport, with the launch of a fourth annual flight from 27 October.

The new daily flight came after the participation in the seasonal service, launched during the summer, to meet the growing demand for flights between the two capitals.

The fourth flight will be operated on an appropriate Abu Dhabi morning on an Airbus A380.

The return flight from London Heathrow starts late at night on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, a two-level system with 299 seats, including 28 in business clbad and 271 in economy clbad.

Etihad Airways announced in March to have achieved a turnover of $ 5.86 billion in 2018 thanks to the company's market share in high-yield markets, the rationalization of the cost base and improved cash flow, reflecting the improvement in central operating performance of 15%. .

Last year, Etihad received eight new aircraft, including three Boeing 787-9s, four Boeing 787-10s and one Boeing 777-200 freighter.

By the end of 2018, the airline had a total fleet of 106 aircraft, with an average service life of 5.7 years.

In terms of destinations, Etihad added Baku and Barcelona to its global destinations in 2018, both of which offer better performance than expected.

The airline has also increased the number of flights to destinations such as Toronto, which has increased from 3 to 5 flights per week, from 2 to 3 daily flights to Amman and Rome and 11 weekly flights to Male, Maldives.
