Google has made a new leap in the world of mobile phones, with its next phone partially controlled without touching it thanks to the movements of the hands controlled by sensors, according to a message published by the group on his blog.

This new model, Pixel 4, is expected to be introduced in the fall and can be unlocked through facial recognition technology. The personal data collected on this device will not be transferred to other Google services, revealed the giant group.

The most important innovations are the Soli, a radar developed five years ago: like other smart phones, Pixel 4 will provide facial recognition technology, but this time more fluidly.

"If you know the sensors and algorithms, the phone will respond from the first move," said Brandon Barbello, Project Director at Pixel.

The sensors will allow you to unlock the phone without looking at the screen, make electronic payments or activate applications.

In the first three months of this year, 310.8 million smart phones sold worldwide, down 6.6% over the same period last year, according to International Data Corporation (IDC) .
