The President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, addressed the Speaker of Parliament, Nabih Berri, as well as the members of the Council to ask them to interpret Article 95 of the Constitution.
"Article 95 of the Constitution requires the interpretation of paragraph j of its introduction, in accordance with the rules of constitutional interpretation, in order to preserve our Charter, our national consensus and our common life, which are essential to the existence of Lebanon and to all consideration. "
Aoun added, "We reserve our constitutional right and duty to our position, our role and our division by taking the measures we see in accordance with the Constitution and the issues that concern us in this letter.
