MBC Studios participates in the production of the first long Arabic television series

Twofour54, MBC Studios and Imagenation Abu Dhabi announced today a new partnership for the production of the world's first Arabic-language television series entitled "Inheritance". Under the partnership agreement, a dedicated drama studio will be built in Abu Dhabi, which will serve as its main location. Twofour54 will directly invest in production, while MBC will benefit from the Abu Dhabi Film Commission's incentive program, which includes a cash refund of 30% of production costs spent in the emirate. . Both parties will work closely with Imagenation Abu Dhabi to develop the talent and develop the project scenario.

The long series is characterized by a unique dramatic genre, different from other Arab productions in the region. It is a continuous record of events occurring in multiple networks during an open period extending over years and in some cases reaching decades. Although there are many Arab dramas today, they are not in the category of long series that continue to run indefinitely.

The production of long-lasting works of art in the UAE will have a significant positive impact on the burgeoning sector of Abu Dhabi film and media production. Work scenes must be filmed more than 250 days a year. According to production group estimates, the work will generate more than 200 jobs in the first year alone. This "legacy" is expected to stimulate demand and create business zones that will attract new businesses to Abu Dhabi to support the development of this mbad production.
