BERLIN (Reuters) – Borussia Dortmund has loaned Andrei Shorely to Spartak Moscow for a year with an option to buy, the Russian club said on Wednesday.
Dortmund had loaned Schurley, 28, last season to Fulham for two years, but the demotion of the second-division team allowed the Brazilian to win the 2014 World Cup in the Bundesliga.
Shorely has played only 51 games with Dortmund in the past two seasons, scoring eight goals.
Shorely had previously defended Chelsea from 2013 to 2015 for 22 million euros against Bayern Leverkusen. In February 2015, he left the London club to go to the Bundesliga with Wolfsburg for 32 million euros. In July 2016, he moved to Dortmund for 20 million euros.
