The Middle Egypt Flour Mills Company Board of Directors approved the results of the unaudited financial statements for the year ended June 30, 2019 with a 7.9% decrease in earnings compared to the corresponding period.
The company said in a statement today that it had achieved a net profit of 135.211 million pounds in the period from July 2018 to the end of June 2019, compared to 146.9 million pounds over the same period.
Turnover for the same period fell to LE 1.214.754 billion, compared to US $ 1.741.501 billion for the same period.
The total profit for the year ended June 2019 fell to 226,629 million pounds against 260,836 million pounds in the corresponding period.
Basic earnings per share for the same period was EGP 9.18, compared with EGP 9.98 for the same period.
