The leader of the Progressive Socialist Party, former MP Walid Jumblatt, reacted to the positions of Lebanese Forces Party leader Samir Geagea. "I thank Dr. Samir Geagea for his frankness and courage, saying that the conflict in the country is political and not sectarian.
He added: "No matter what happened in the orchards after attempting to falsify the investigation, the truth is stronger than fraud attempts, thankful and wise enough for false turns."
Geagea announced Tuesday night in a TV interview that he had refused to refer the case to the Justice Council and that the Covenant was involved in Walid Jumblatt's siege.
