Commenting on what happened, MP Ziad Hawat, at the end of the Jubail MEPs' meeting, which included the latter, Simon Abi Remia and Mustapha Husseini, said that "based on the imperatives of the public interest and respect for Lebanese values and principles, A series of meetings held with the Byblos International Committee and the spiritual, judicial and security authorities on the planned concert of the "Layla Project" at the Beblos Festivals on evening of August 9 and the complications that accompany it, "according to the Lebanese newspaper" Al-Nahar ".
Al-Hawwat added that he was pursuing the Jbeil deputies "on the issue and his coaching since the first day, and we have made the necessary contacts to fight against populism and defamation, based on respect and the maintenance of religious sanctities with respect for liberty and to develop it. "
The celebration sparked a stir in Lebanon between religious and spiritual institutions and social networking sites.
On July 24, Judge Ghada Aoun, Attorney General of Mount Lebanon, made the decision to release the Laila Project members following investigations by the State Security Directorate.
Group members also removed publications on their Facebook page that affect Christian holy places at the request of the State Security Bureau.
