NASA's mission to study the sun is a success that exceeds expectations in large amounts of data

NASA's Parker probe was able to carry out its mission and reach the orbit of the sun, providing a 50% larger data load than expected by scientists.

According to the Daily Mail, NASA said the probe had been able to transmit 22 gigabytes of data after it first approached the sun. "All the scientific data expected during the two meetings, the first and the second are now on the ground."

"We were also able to know how the spacecraft works in this environment and these orbits.The team was able to download the data from the information collected by the formidable spacecraft.

These additional data provide unprecedented information on the sun, including information on particles, waves, solar corona notes and the solar environment.

The probe, which revolves around the sun more than any other man-made body, contains some of the most extreme conditions imaginable, with cosmic radiation 500 times faster than radiation on Earth and at 1300 degrees Celsius.

Scientists hope that the probe will help solve puzzles around the sun, such as why the sun's outer atmosphere is 300 times higher than its surface and the way it produces gigantic plasma columns called solar flares.
