The consolidated financial statements of Emaar Misr for Development recorded a 91% decline in earnings in the first half of this year.

The company said in a statement to the stock market recently to have made a profit of 94.29 million pounds during the six months ended June, against a profit of 1.10 billion pounds for the corresponding period of 2018.

The company's sales during the period fell to 1.45 billion pounds, up from 1.75 billion pounds in the corresponding period of last year.

In terms of independent operations, the company made a profit of 94.29 million pounds in the first half of this year, compared to 1.1 billion pounds in the same half of last year.

On a quarterly basis, the company recorded consolidated losses of £ 324.3 million in the second quarter of 2019, compared to a profit of £ 598.49 million for the same period last year.

The company posted a profit of 418.6 million Egyptian pounds in the first quarter of this year, compared to a profit of 503.2 million Egyptian pounds for the same period last year.
