The board of directors of the Arab Egyptian Egyptian Trading Company held its meeting on August 4, 2019. The unaudited financial results for the first half of this year decreased by 32.78% in terms of earnings compared to the corresponding period.
The company said in a statement today that it had achieved a net profit of £ 3,669 million in the six months ended June 2019, compared to £ 5,459 million over the same period.
The Egyptian Arab society attributed the fall in profits to the decline in income from its activity over the same period.
Revenues for the same period fell to 12,208 million pounds against 17,719 million pounds over the same period.
The total profit for the six months ended June 2019 fell to 4.453 million pounds, compared to 6.944 million pounds compared to the corresponding period.
The basic share per share during the same period was 0.050 pound versus 0.090 pound during the comparative period.
