The artist Ragheb Alama gave a great evening at the International Carthage Festival at its fifty-fifth session yesterday.
The most memorable moments of the ceremony, when a sign asking the public to remain silent for a minute on the spirit of the late Tunisian President Baji Kayed Sibsi, reminded Ragheb on the scene of the latter's willingness to to travel to Tunisia at any time, as well as ongoing communications with the Tunisian people, whom he regards as his son, and with great pride the son of green Tunisia.
He was honored to be able to return directly to Beirut to begin filming the episodes of "The Voice", for MBC.
The invitation of the Tunisian Minister of Culture, Mohamed Zine El Abidine, and the director of the Carthage Festival for lunch was also discussed, addressing various topics during which they stressed the importance of supreme message of art in the transmission of peoples civilization and communication between them.
