The Jordanian inventor Maher Memon and his colleague Tala Nasraouin have developed a new method to solve the problem of solar panels pollution and get rid of accumulated dust, which limits its effectiveness, especially in dusty Arab cities , which allows to restore it fully. .

Memon and Nasrawin have launched their new technique called Solar Pysocline, based on an advanced combination of crystals placed in a very thin material, with alternating electric currents, which makes it vibrate like a loudspeaker. This process is known as the electrochemical effect.

Solar Pycocellin is made of sophisticated plastic sheets, equipped with power transmission wires, mounted on solar panels to form a barrier between the plate and the dust.

"One of the main obstacles encountered in his project is the difficulty of finding a suitable compression material that does not affect the panels' ability to absorb the sun," he said. "His choice was to find a material that is sufficiently transparent and flexible enough to install the solar panels.

"It is important to have this material at an acceptable price because it will be permanently installed, perhaps the most important point is that this material is water repellent so that the rain and dust do not turn into solution. above the panel, because the water repellent material allows the droplets to collect and fall solar panels.

Solar Pysocline technology can potentially leverage the Internet, that is, the use of sensors and data to improve the use of solar panels in specific environments by integrating a set of sensors into the compression material and adding software to a server that collects information that allows customers to choose how and when to use electrolysis. External solar panels combine these measurements with meteorological data to predict sandstorms and reduce their damage.

The project was partially funded by the Jordanian company Ala Oasis Development Company, which recently announced the launch and operation of the project in Aqaba, Jordan, following a series of long-term experiments. The Arab region is one of the most solar-friendly regions in the world to expand deserts. Specialized research has shown that up to the Arab land, solar energy reached five kilowatt hours per square meter per day. Since most solar projects in the Arab world are still in their infancy, many Arab countries have launched an intensive call to activate and develop them.
