A slight decline in the pace of service activity in Japan in July was reported by a report released Monday by IHS Market, an economics consulting firm.
The Gibbon Bank index for service managers fell from 51.8 in June to 51.8 last month.
A reading of more than 50 points indicates the economic growth of the sector, while a reading below 50 points indicates a contraction of the sector.
The data showed that the growth rate of demand in July (July), compared to the same month of last year, also indicated a slowdown in the pace of employment.
At the same time, companies remain optimistic about the economic situation of the last 12 months, but confidence has fallen to its lowest level in two years.
