RAKZ introduces new categories as part of its Business Excellence Awards program

The Authority of the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Area (RAKAS) announced today the opening of its annual Business Excellence Awards, to be held this year at its sixth session. The Authority has created four new categories and added them to its Business Excellence program, bringing the total cash prize to AED 220,000, awarded to the best companies in the free zone and local Ras Al Khaimah.
The Business Excellence Rewards Program is the third year in a row, thanks to the cooperation between the Authority and the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Development Department. The list of new price categories for 2019 includes:
As the best teaching provider, the prize is awarded to RAKAS companies that contribute to improving the quality of teaching in Ras Al Khaimah.
Best Service Provider: The award is awarded to RACS companies providing consulting, marketing, professional training and other services.
Best Business Leader: The award is presented to RACS Corporate Leaders, who are a living example and inspiration for excellence.
This award is awarded to RAKZ and RAK economic development companies, which enjoy an attractive and enjoyable work environment.
The Commission welcomed the invitation of its clients to apply for all the following categories, as well as the participation of the clients of the Ministry of Economic Development in Ras Al Khaimah, the first three categories only. The list of awards includes: the Best New Business Award, the Best Small Business Award, the Best RAK Development Contributor, the fastest growing company award and the Best Industrial Company Award.
"We look forward to the sixth year of existence of the Business Excellence Awards," said Rami Glad, general manager of the Ras Al Khaimah group. "The Authority has sought to broaden the scope of the program this year to two new categories: free zone enterprises and local businesses Education and services, two vital sectors that stimulate the economy of Ras Al Khaimah, as well as inspiring business leaders.
