"Health Minya": closure of 11 medical facilities and execution of 879 kg of food

Maj. Gen. Qbadim Hussein, Governor of Minya, said that the Department of Free Treatments of the Health Directorate had made a licensing decision for 8 private medical facilities and closed 11 more at the 40 private medical institutions (hospitals, medical centers, clinics and private laboratories) as part of the campaigns implemented by the Directorate. Sanitary and medical facilities, with a view to strengthening the control and supervision of private medical facilities and preserving the life and safety of citizens.

Dr. Omnia Rajab, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health, explained that the closure decisions were due to the lack of work permits for these health facilities, the non-compliance of health standards and violation of the conditions of the Ministry of Health. In cooperation with Supply Investigation, monitor products on markets, outlets, and food establishments, whether factories, markets, or street vendors, and verify that they meet the requirements for health.
