The dollar stabilized Tuesday in Egypt, facing the Egyptian pound in the morning transactions of banks and foreign exchange companies after a decline of about two dollars, during the Monday trading, the average price of 16.51 pounds to buy and 16.61 pounds to sell.
The dollar price to the National Bank, the largest state bank, 16.51 pounds to buy and 16.61 pounds to sell, the same price to the banks of Egypt, Bloom, Egypt, Iran and Arab International Banking Company.
The Egyptian pound has risen 7% against the dollar since the beginning of this year.
Commercial International Bank and United Bank offered the lowest price of the dollar, 16.48 pounds at the time of purchase and 16.58 pounds at the sale, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank offered the highest price from the US currency to 16.55 pounds at the purchase and 16.63 pounds for sale.
Regarding the remaining currencies according to the prices of the National Bank of Egypt, the purchase price of the euro increased for the second day in a row to 18.47 euros and reached 18.68 pounds at the sale, a pound sterling to buy 20 pounds and sell 20,211 pounds.
On the Arab currencies, the price of the Saudi riyal fell to buy 4.38 pounds and sell 4.24 pounds, while the UAE dirham was established at 4.49 pounds to buy and 4.52 pounds to the sale.
The purchase price of the Kuwaiti dinar rose to 54.28 pounds against 54.70 for the sale, according to the National Bank of Egypt.
