Samsung has been able to develop a distinctive new SSD flash design of 100 layers of NAND cells in just 13 months and the company has already started mbad production of new memories.
Samsung's new SSD includes the sixth generation of 256GB NAND vertical cells, making it the first Samsung memory to have 100 layers of NAND cells, with a write speed of 450 microseconds and read speed 45 microseconds.
The new memory is improved over the previous version with 90 layers of NAND cells. Memory performance has been improved by 10%, with power consumption reduced by 15%.
Samsung plans to continue expanding into the SSD market over the next period, particularly with the rapid development of SSD flash technology in the recent period.
