Death of a cyclist in Lambrecht during a tour of Poland – Politics

Belgian cyclist Borg Lambrecht, 22, was killed Monday after an accident on the international cycling circuit, his team said.
"The great tragedy that can happen to Bjørg's family, friends and colleagues has taken place," said the team in a tweet via his official Twitter account.
The tweet, which was badociated with a black-and-white photo of the deceased cyclist, was delivered about two hours after the team announced that Lambrecht had "suffered an accident and was rushed to hospital" .
Lambrecht was the victim of a sharp fall during the third leg of the tour.
According to the official FIA Facebook page, "The Federation is deeply saddened by the pbading of Bjorg Lambrecht, and the cycling community has lost its rising star today.
The organizing committee had indicated that the cyclist had an accident during the colliding collision with a concrete barrier and had been taken to hospital by ambulance because it could not be airlifted due to his condition and had died in the treatment room.
