Finance Minister Ali Hbadan Khalil has sent a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants concerning the registration of full-time contracts for real rights in the real estate register at a date determined from the date of his organization, on the basis of Article 53 of Law No. 144 of 31/7/2019 (General Budget Law 2019).
In the book, Minister Khalil wishes the ministry:
"Circular to the Lebanese diplomatic missions to respect the content of article 53 of the general budget law 2019, in particular to inform the contractors who organize within the framework of these missions Taxes due within three years from the date of their organization under pain of doubling the tax due in case of non-compliance with this deadline.
Minister Khalil also sent a letter to the Ministry of the Environment regarding granting the owners of undeveloped properties the right to establish sustainable construction, in accordance with Article 66 of the law n ° 144 of 31/7/2019 (law on the public budget of 2019).
Considering that Article 66 of the Public Finance Act of 2019 confers on the owners of undeveloped buildings the right to establish sustainable constructions under specific conditions, provided that the minutes of the 39; application of this Article be determined by decree in Council of Ministers on proposal of the Ministers of Public Works, Transport, Environment, Social Affairs and Energy and Water after the approval of the Supreme Council of Urban Planning. "
The minister hoped that the Ministry of Environment will coordinate its activities with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Energy and Water, in order to prepare the necessary decree as soon as possible.
