The Ministry of Health and Population announced Wednesday the release of three cases of patients injured by an accident of the Institute of Oncology after improving their health and received the necessary treatment at the hospital of the Institute Nbader.

Dr. Khaled Mujahid, spokesman of the Ministry of Health and Population, in a statement to "Al-Masry Al-Youm", said the total number of injured due to the terrorist incident had fallen to 15, including 3 critical cases.

The spokesman added that the number of deaths was still the same as the one previously announced, ie 20 deaths, in addition to "bags of coins", pointing out that the wounded were at the Nbader Institute, including 5 cases, including one critical condition and four stable cases, as well as 10 cases at Kasr Al-Aini Hospital, including two critical cases, highlighting that the Minister of Health had insisted on the need to care for the wounded, in accordance with the directives of the President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah El Sisi, and Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister in this regard.

Dr. Khalid Mujahid explained that wounds range from cuts to different places and from bruises and fractures, to varying degrees of burns, wishing for a speedy recovery, and offering condolences to the families of the deceased.

Mujahid added that the minister ordered to provide psychological support to the families of the deceased, in addition to the wounded and their families, especially children, stressing the continuation of psychological support even after returning home, noting that the hospitals of the Ministry of Health were ready to accommodate 100% of patients. Cancer Institute 78 patients have already been transferred to hospitals in Nbader, Mounira and Dar-es-Salaam Hermel.
