Astronomers have discovered millions of black holes in the Milky Way galaxy, including a giant hole 40 times larger than the Sun.
According to a report published by the technical site "Mashable", "Holmberg 15 A" is a giant elliptical galaxy located about 700 million light years from Earth. It is one of the largest black holes discovered by the Vendelstein observatory observing the movement of the stars around him. Through the use of "photometric" data, data images in the form of "pixels" are destroyed to identify shadows.
Observatory researchers hope that the discovery, after further research, will help them learn more about the formation of black holes and the number of holes not yet discovered in the universe.
