Samsung unveils the Galaxy Book S

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book S, an ultra-slim notebook with a battery life of up to 23 hours and a Windows 10 operating system, priced at $ 999, which will be available in September.

The Galaxy Book S comes with a 13.3-inch touchscreen, a 8-core, 7-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx processor, integrated LTE connectivity via Nano SIM support, and a 23-hour battery as claimed by Samsung.

The device works with the Windows 10 operating system in S mode, a small version of the operating system that can run applications only from the Windows Store, including Microsoft-approved UWP and Win32 applications.

The device comes with 8GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of internal storage (SSD), expandable up to 1TB, backlit keyboard and USB-C port.

According to Samsung, the new Snapdragon 8cx computer platform offers 40% higher processor performance than the Galaxy Book 2, 80% more graphics performance and more memory bandwidth.
