Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated financial results of Medinet Nasr Housing for the first half showed a 15.7% decline in its profits from one year to the next.
The company said Thursday in a statement to the stock market that it had realized a net profit of 515,686 million pounds sterling over the period, compared to a net profit of 611,728 million pounds sterling over the same period from last year.
Sales in the first half fell 14.07 percent to 1.088 billion EGP, compared with 1.266 billion EGP for the same period in 2018.
In terms of self-employment, profits fell over the same period to reach a record high of £ 511.268 million, compared with £ 574.388 million in the previous period.
It should be noted that Medinet Nasr Housing has recorded a net profit of 332.3 million pounds since the beginning of January until the end of March, against 313.5 million pounds for the same period last year.
The company's revenues increased to £ 634.21 million at the end of March, compared to £ 610.8 million for the same period last year.
