According to the data, reserves increased for the 17th consecutive month since their increase in February 2018, while they reached their highest level since October 2015.

According to the data, the reserve included 55.3 billion riyals ($ 15.3 billion) of liquid badets in foreign currency, plus 52.4 billion riyals ($ 14.4 billion) in balances with foreign banks.

Gold balances with the Central Bank of Qatar amounted to 6.54 billion riyals ($ 1.8 billion), while investments in treasury bills and foreign bonds registered 80 billion riyals (22 billion dollars). billions of dollars).

The improvement of Qatari reserves comes despite Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, which imposed a blockade in Doha on June 5, 2017, but the economy of that last resisted its repercussions.
