Compared to yesterday's prices, gold prices fell about 4 pounds, while the 21 carats yesterday recorded about 689 pounds, with the changes seen in international prices, and the 18 carats of about 591 grams, while the price of 24 carats was trading yesterday at 787 pounds.

Overall, gold prices remained steady on Thursday, hovering around the significant psychological level of $ 1,500, fueled by uncertainties surrounding the US-China trade war and by a series of rate cuts. interest by global central banks, fearing an economic slowdown.

Faced with world prices last week, gold rose by about $ 55, reaching 1,445 ounces last Thursday, and was supported by US President Donald Trump's claims that he would impose tariffs additional imports from China, which increased the turbulence of the dollar and accelerated the rise in gold.

On other precious metals, silver rose 0.1% today to reach $ 17.11 an ounce, hovering near the highest level reached in more than a year, what I had already touched during the previous session.

Platinum rose 0.5% to $ 865.84 and palladium 0.7% to $ 1,424.64 an ounce.
