The Ministry of Health and Population announced the establishment of a comprehensive system of health insurance at the time of Eid al-Adha. This plan provides for the increase of the number of ambulances to 2,227 equipped cars, which will be distributed at public gatherings, public parks, gardens, mosques and prayer areas of all the governorates of the Republic.
Dr. Khalid Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population and spokesperson, explained that the Minister of Health had confirmed that all medical authorities had canceled work teams in all hospitals and strengthened their capacity to review and provide an adequate stock of medicines and medical equipment, as well as to provide a strategic stock of bags. Blood in all central and regional blood banks, noting that the crisis is taking place 24 hours a day at the general departmental department in order to monitor the implementation of the health insurance plan.
Mujahid said the plan was to strengthen the readiness of all ambulance facilities and coordinate this ambulance with the critical and urgent care sector in order to focus vehicles for rapid medical intervention in certain places of a special nature, provided that the emergency doctor of each vehicle
Mujahid added that there was complete coordination between the university hospitals and the ministry hospitals, through the emergency services center (137), to receive and transfer emergencies, pointing out that hospitals were provided to governorate health directorates with medicines, medical supplies and equipment, in addition to preventing hospital staff from leaving and resting during festive periods Especially in the vital sections "Emergency, Intensive Care and Burns".
Mujahid pointed out that the plan included coordination with poison control centers in the governorates and an example of preparation and supply of medicines and supplies, in addition to forgetting.
Mujahid pointed out that the plan included the creation of a central operating room within the ministry to link the sub-operating blocks to the provinces, noting that this room included the areas of therapeutic and preventive medicine and the 39, central administration of care. It is imperative that the Egyptian Ambulance Authority and the intensive care unit monitor the implementation of the health insurance scheme of Eid al-Adha celebrations.
