Health Minister Jamil Jibak stressed that the pharmaceutical industry had not yet entered Lebanon, noting that the Lebanese Ministry of Health had a technical committee studying drugs and medicines. that his approval had been introduced in Lebanon, and not the minister who entered it.
Regarding the treatment of Iraqi patients in Lebanon, he said: "The number of Iraqis entering Lebanon has reached half a million, then has decreased.We have set up a hotline to receive complaints.
"I have discussed this issue with hospitals that have agreed to treat the Iraqis in accordance with the conditions of the ministry, and this decision could be transferred to citizens of other Arab countries," he added.
"The Iraqi Minister of Health will soon visit Lebanon and we will sign an agreement between us and Iraq, Lebanon will export drugs to Iraq."
The Minister of Health revealed that there was no health insurance card because the funding had not been paid and that this topic was "a misleading text".
He pointed out that there remained a project in the discussions that would be submitted by the insurance companies to the Ministry of Health and the establishment of health cards without cost.
He added: "I will finish the health card project and hope to present it to the Lebanese people".
Regarding the budget of the Ministry of Health, he said that it was "his debts," noting that Minister Wael Bou Faour had left debts to Minister Ghbadan Hasbani. Or cooperative, pointing out that difficult health cases must be covered, pointing out that what broke the department's cash flow are the exceptions.
