Official announcement of Galaxy Book S with Snapdragon 855 and Windows 10 processor

Apart from Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10, Samsung has also unveiled a new notebook called Galaxy Book S, intended to replace the current Galaxy Book 2. This new laptop is lightweight and ultra-slim design. It also has the Snapdragon 855 processor and runs on Windows 10.

The new Galaxy Book S notebook includes a 13.3-inch FullHD touchscreen, an 851 octa-core Snapdragon processor, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of 1TB microSD expandable internal memory. In addition, it also features speakers from AKG, the leading audio company that supports Dolby Atmos.

In addition, this laptop is also equipped with a 42W battery that can provide up to 23 hours of video playback. This means that you can use this notebook all day before needing to recharge it with support for Quick Charge 2.0 and Power Delivery 2.0. In terms of communication, this laptop does not rely entirely on WiFi, it also supports 4G LTE networks. Unfortunately, however, you must rely on a single USB Type-C port.

For security reasons, Samsung has decided to provide the Galaxy Book S with a fingerprint sensor that supports Windows Hello. Before closing, we would like to emphasize that all these technical specifications were included in an anodized aluminum structure covered with the computer weighs only 0.96 kg and a thickness of only 11.8 mm. Overall, the new Galaxy Book S is expected to arrive in some markets by fall in two different colors, gray and gold.
