Lebanese National Theater honors Farouk Fishawi

ILLAF from Beirut: The Tero Association for the Arts and the Theater Department of Istanbul have announced the creation of a tribute film to the late artist Farouk El Fishawy on the Lebanese National Theater in Tire. Kbadem Istanbuli, founder and director of "Theater", announced the release of a set of films presenting the masterpieces of the deceased artist. It is "the spy Hikmat Fahmy", which he presented in 1994 and shared with the soldier Nadia, and directed by Hossam El-Din Mustafa. Farouk El-Fishawy was born on February 5, 1952 in one of the villages of Sars El-Layan Center, Menoufia Governorate, Egypt. He started his artistic career in small series in several series, then his big start was in 1980, when he participated in the series "My dear sons Thank you" directed by Mohamed Fadel. He was then known for his role as "suspect". Regarded as one of the most prolific stars of the 80s and 90s of the twentieth century, he played many different roles, including the role of King Farouk and Shahat and other important roles.

Al-Fishawi has won numerous awards throughout his career and has been the most prominent face at the opening of most Arab art festivals. In 2007, he won the Best Artistic and Media Award from the National Council for Human Rights.
