Given the state sports promotion plan and the implementation of the initiative of the President of the Republic, special attention should be paid to sports activities in cooperation with the Ministry Health, Youth and Sports, in order to improve the public health of the Egyptian citizen and to offer him possibilities of sporting practice.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and President of the Egyptian Federation of Sports and Universities, presented a report submitted by Dr. Mohamed Sobhi Hbadanin, Vice President of the Federation Egyptian sports, on the national project of fitness and health.

The report pointed out that this project aimed to identify the level of physical fitness among Egyptian students and promote the values ​​of belonging, citizenship and loyalty to the homeland among students, while improving the efficiency fitness for students; Sports activities, as well as the rooting of the role of sports activities, to activate positive practices towards the homeland.

The report indicated that the target groups of this project are students from Egyptian universities and institutes, university students with disabilities, professors and university staff.

The report pointed out that the proposed programs included many projects, including: The first project: "active living" competition at the clbadroom level, including: (Measuring the fitness level of each student at the university, work arithmetic mean for each clbad, the work of a fitness card at the university level). The second project: at the level of the "student" faculties, representing the four grades of the faculty, the third project: "professors", representing all the university sectors, and the fourth project: the gold champion of the physical fitness at the level Egyptian universities, while the fifth project includes a fitness championship for students.
