The swim team received a flower reception upon arrival in Dubai the day after its successful participation in the Arab Sunni Arab Championship in Morocco. She won 7 Arab medals, including 3 gold and silver medals for United Arab Emirates champion Laila Al-Khatib, as well as a bronze medal with the relay team 800 m. The first girl to win the UAE swimming medal, while the disabled Salem Salem Ghalib and Saeed Ahmed Faraj won the bronze medal.
The delegation was received in Dubai by Omar Abdul Rahman Al Ali, Head of the Olympic Committee, Sports Federations and Associations of the General Authority of Sport, Hbadan Al Ramsi, Protocol Director of the Authority, Juma Al Balushi, Vice President of the Swimming Federation and Khalifa Al Kaabi, CFO of the Federation.
Omar Abdul Rahman congratulated the young heroes and the new generation of young emirati swimmers, men and women, announcing a new generation of players able to represent the country with honor, especially in women's swimming, which will be a breakthrough for this important Olympic sport, especially the number and the plan of the new heroine Ambit Laila Khatib Calls for their strong support.
Jumaa Al Balooshi said the federation wanted to prepare these youngsters for foreign participation, as the team was preparing to participate in the Gulf and Junior Asian Championships in search of new achievements.
Mariam Al Shamsi, head of the women's committee and a member of the official delegation, praised the commitment and seriousness of the championship players, hoping that this generation will be able to hoist the state flag in such a way continues at various tournaments abroad.
