BEIJING (Reuters) – China on Thursday denounced new rules announced by Washington that prohibit technology giants Huawei and other Chinese companies from signing contracts in US markets, accusing Washington of "abuses" to be able to".
These provisional rules will prevent any US federal agency from acquiring telecommunication or technological equipment from these Chinese companies as of August 13. Huawei is also facing the ban on US companies selling technology equipment. The ban is expected to come into effect in mid-January. The company said it would challenge the measures in the US Supreme Court.
