The Council of Ministers met in ordinary session at 11:30 pm today at the Presidential Palace in Baabda, under the chairmanship of President Michel Aoun, in the presence of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and ministers.
The Council of Ministers will review the agenda of the July 2 meeting, which did not take place, in addition to the urgent issues to make the decisions that are required.
The meeting was preceded by a meeting between Presidents Aoun and Hariri, who discussed the latest developments. A number of ministers took the floor at the beginning of the session.
The Minister of Education and Higher Education, Akram Shuhaib, and the Minister of Public Health, Wael Abu Faour, have entered the country together and have asked questions about the possibility of a handshake with the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Mohammad Fneish said: "Congratulations to all Sulha and good for all."
The Minister of Displaced Affairs, Saleh al-Gharib, has not responded to journalists' questions about the possibility of a handshake with the two socialist ministers.
The Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Youssef Fenianos, arrived to attend the session. "Between the marriage of my son and the marriage of the country, I preferred to participate in the marriage of the motherland," he said.
