The Pyramids earned their first victory in the Confederation of African Championships (CAF) against Congolese Star of Congo, 4-1.
The match was held as part of the first round of the 64th round of the African Confederation Championship.
The pyramids scored John Angui (two), Eric Traoré and Ahmed Ali, while Jan Mokombo scored the only goal.
The new Pyramids team managed to secure their place in the continental league by finishing third in the Egyptian Premier League last season.
The return site is scheduled for August 24th.
