Continuation of awareness campaigns in the health insurance system of Port Said

The Ministry of Health and Population has announced the launch of awareness campaigns for the new comprehensive health insurance system in the governorate of Port Said.

A campaign began on Thursday, August 8 with the distribution of more than 2,800 forms to encourage the citizens of Port Said to register to benefit from the comprehensive health insurance system.

The ministry explained that the new comprehensive health insurance system has registered strong citizen participation to complete the registration process through the units and centers of the system, highlighting the launch of the ministry's campaigns to raise awareness and Urge citizens to register and submit the required documents to join the system. Al Shamil, to walk the streets of the governorate of Port-Saïd and to sensitize citizens to the new system of comprehensive health insurance.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Deputy Minister of Health and Population responsible for monitoring and follow-up of affairs and Executive Director of the Global Health Insurance Project, announced that a car was launched towards the governorate of Port Said during the first day of the campaign. Ali, the fish market and the sea on the second day, distributed about 1100 forms until the afternoon of the third day in the area of ​​the Lutfi Shabara Mosque during the "Friday prayers", then in the areas of the Peace Mosque and Port Said Fish Market.

Al-Sobki highlighted the launch of another car in parallel to browse the neighborhoods and streets of Port Fouad, where she visited the Great Mosque during the "Friday prayers" and then returned at the Port Fouad Fish Market. In the system, he added that the campaign would continue to function during the days of Eid and prayer, especially in times and places overcrowded where citizens are actually present.
